Puglia recommendations

We thought it would be helpful to provide you with some Puglia recommendations which you may wish to explore whilst you are visiting. For towns relatively close to the wedding venue, we would definitely recommend a trip to Ostuni, referred to as the "white city". Its old town is very picturesque with a beautiful main piazza and lots of little passageways to explore, all set high on a hill looking towards the sea. We'd also recommend other nearby towns called Martina Franca, Ceglie and Cisternino - all of them have their own unique charm. For a bit further afield and if you have time we would recommend a visit to the baroque city of Lecce which is full of history. In the other direction and for sea lovers, a trip to Polignano a Mare would be a good option... the old town sits right on the cliff precipice overlooking the sea - it's a spectacular location. Lots of cliff diving by professionals there too because of the setting.
